After a disappointing season for the University of Pittsburgh football team in 2006, they will lose two huge pieces of their team over the past four years in Tyler Palko and H.B. Blades.
Before we get to those two #84-TE Steve Buches is a free agent body that lacks athletic ability and is to narrow to be an efficient blocker at the next level. OG John Simonitis is awaiting word from the NCAA to discover if he has been granted a medical red shirt for 2006 which would allow him to play in 2007. They will lose other starters such as OC Joe Vilani, OB Clint Session, SS Sam Bryant and other backups in DE Vernon Botts and LB Brian Bennett - all of whom are rejects.
Pittsburgh Punter Adam Graessle is yet to be watched but has been solid for his career at Pitt.
CB Darrelle Revis is as good as gone from what I've heard and he should test very well at his workout. He is a very good athlete with the footwork, fluid hips and overall ability to be a solid man coverage corner. However, Revis doesn't help against the run making him a lesser day one prospect. His Punt Return ability should benefit him though as many will recall him for his exciting return against West Virginia in November.
Pitt LT Jeff Otah, a junior, is going to be a very dominant player next season and has the looks of being a great pro player.
Look for reports on Palko and Blades on the website this weekend.

You said "before we get to those two..." and then you never mentioned Palko or Blades again.
Sorry, didn't see your last sentance. Thanks for the scouting report.
